Great retro game in a great universe! Love it!

As always great fun to play Abe

No complaints as of yet! If you’ve played Stranger’s Wrath, the controls are basically the same. You can adjust the controls if necessary and plays well. I’ve always loved this game and just being able to play it on my mac/iphone is awesome. I’m a person of simple pleasures so honestly, just the fact that I’m able to play it on my mac is great. No lag, no crashing (as of yet) and it’s just a fun, nostalgic game to play on the road (or when you’re bored in class lol).

Graphics are ok, movement is tricky on a MacBook Pro laptop

I remember playing this game as a kid, the memories are all flowing back. I never beat the game back then, lets hope I’ll be able to now!!!

Had all Oddworld games on Playstation, loved this game. Runs and looks great on the 27” iMac!

fun, but super hard to move!

Tried to activate cloud saves. That froze the game. That also froze the Finder. Rebooted iMac. Kernel panic. Impossible to boot either from startup disk or recovery partition. Restored with most recent Time Machine backup. Would only boot from Windows partition - attempting to boot from OSX or recovery partition = kernel panic and auto shutdown. Tried Internet Recovery (COPR). Couldn’t install original OS 10.8 over OS 10.9.5, so had to wipe all OSX partitions and do a clean install of OS 10.8. Restored Time Machine backup, updated back to OS 10.9.5. Time machine volume then wouldn’t work with new installation, so had to wipe time machine and build a new time machine backup - took three days. After this epic nightmare, dare I start up the game again? Not likely! $7.99 flushed down the toilet. I didn’t even get past the setup screens.

I was very skeptical about downloading this gae initially after reading the reviews about the controls for the MacBook laptops. I read the controls were very tricky. I love Oddworld since I played as a teen. I went ahead and downloaded it any and at first for me it was very tricky being as though I’m use to playing via Playstation. Once I got the hang of it, it’s been smooth sailing. I have truly fallen in love with Oddworl all over again. I would recommend this game to everyone who loves Oddworld. GREAT GAME!!!!!

It’s amazing to be playing a game I have fond memories of from the Original Xbox days. My only comment is it could have used a touch up on the sound quality: especially common sounds like chanting.

so glad this was ported to OSX. Late 2012 iMac 27”, runs great. works with ps3 controller via usb as well.

I loved this game when I was a kid and the X Box first came out. So glad I can play it on my computer now !!!

Loved Abe’s games back when they came out on my Xbox. Now you can play Munch’s game on your Mac for only $8. If you have an Xbox 360 USB controller you can load a driver so you can use it instead of the keyboard. Well worth the cost to play this game once again!

i love this game

I LOVED the previous game of the series, Abe’s Oddysee, when I was a kid and I remembered as a serious game, with a very dark or at least mysterious message and graphics that had me captivated!! It was pretty much the “Trine” of the 90’s and when I saw this I mistakenly though it was Abe’s Oddysee! When I realized it wasn’t I didn’t mind at all to try a new game of the series. It’s not a bad game I guess but NOTHING to do with the dark and intriguing tone of the previous one! This game felt like for kids, it was almost like a Mickey Mouse game or some Disney game, getting mushrooms to get energy and all that stuff! If you like the series then try it out you might really like it. I just felt it was very childish-oriented instead of the awesome and beautiful views of Abe’s Oddysee. Anyway ENJOY IT!

Loved this game since it came out. Controls take a little getting used to, but too much fun to care. Thanks for bringing it back!!
